CLÁSSICO DO LED ZEPPELIN É ESCOLHIDO COMO MELHOR "COVER" DE TODOS OS TEMPOS

Um dos maiores clássicos do Rock, “Stairway to Heaven”, foi escolhido como o melhor ‘cover’ de todos os tempos pelo jornal The New York Post. A versão escolhida é uma regravação feita pela cantora Country Dolly Parton.

Entre as cem músicas mais votadas estão versões de Johnny Cash com a interpretação de “Hurt”, do Nine Inch Nails e H.I.M. com “Wicked Game”, de Chris Isaak.

Algumas versões se tornaram mais conhecidas do que as originais, como “Turn, Turn, Turn”, famosa com The Byrds mas original de Pete Seeger, ou ainda “Twist and Shout”, do grupo The Isle Brothers, gravada pelos Beatles.
